About Mural

Mural is a web-based visual collaboration workspace. It is used for facilitated workshops, design thinking sessions, brainstorming, retrospectives and mapping exercises, with an infinite canvas and a library of 250+ templates.

Mural now describes itself as a visual AI platform. Mural AI is included from the Team+ plan and is pitched at jumpstarting brainstorms, analyzing feedback and suggesting next steps. The Business plan adds SSO and LUMA frameworks, a set of structured methods for collaborative work.

Mural is aimed strongly at larger organizations, and its pricing page says it is used by over 50% of the Fortune 100.

Best for: Facilitators and design teams that run structured workshops, especially in large companies that need SSO and enterprise controls.

Strengths
